We had a nice afternoon at The Studio yesterday working with this group of Girl Scouts as we helped them with a mixed media and drawing project so they could achieve their Drawing Badge. Nice work by everyone with these paper, paint and bead paintings.

We had a LARGE group of young artists painting these beautiful sunflower field landscapes yesterday at The Studio. This was the first of our monthly art classes for kids. Have you heard? The Studio is offering one kid’s class per month until the end of the year. Tomorrow our theme is Landscape and they will be painting a large canvas with a beautiful scene. I can’t wait to see the results. We are SOLD OUT! Don’t let your young artist miss the next one. Dianne has recently started painting and she often paints gifts for family. This one she just completed for a relative who loves this view. We had a great time with our lavender paintings last night at The Studio. Plus Tricia brought blueberry pie for us to enjoy to complete our purple/blue color theme for the evening. 🙂 A great evening!!!

Beautiful….spectacular….amazing BARN QUILTS!!!! These ladies did lovely work yesterday afternoon at The Studio while the crazy thunderstorm was raging outside. Barn Quilts look great outside on a barn, fence, shed or garage and inside on a wall. If you like quilts or Americana you will love these. Watch for another session soon and join in the fun.
