Workshop for Gingham and Hearts Quilt

We have a couple of spots left for our Gingham and Hearts Quilt Workshop coming up on February 11th from 9 am – 6 pm. Learn to make a Gingham design block for a beautiful patterned quilt with Heart motif….just in time for Valentine’s Day! The great thing about this pattern is that you can apply it to many other designs. Come make this one and get some other great design ideas. And we will be applying the Quilt As You Go method…a fun way to make a quilt on a domestic machine. You have the option of registering for the class only and you will get a supply list where you can purchase your fabrics and info on what to do prepare for class. An Anniversary Treat

Remembering Big Mama

I have been thinking about Big Mama all day today. She passed away on this day in 2006. I was with her. She was a wonderful person and taught me so much. Don’t Judge!

Don’t judge me! I love fabric….and no, there is NEVER ENOUGH FABRIC! While on vacation I found a great fabric shop that was just a couple of miles from where we were staying and I got some pretty pieces of fabric. And when I got home I needed just one more day away. I decided to make a run to the Lancaster area and do a little more fabric shopping. I may have gone overboard. LOL! I’m not worried though. I’ll use it up pretty quick. 🙂 Now to find a place to put it all.
