On Thursday the Homeschool Kids Class prepared these beautiful pieces for their moms for Mother’s Day tomorrow. They selected beautiful sayings to add to the mixed media art. Nice work everyone! I know the moms will LOVE them.

The kids painted these amazing garden works of mixed media art for their moms for Mother’s Day. They feature a little saying….”I couldn’t have picked a better MOM!” They turned out great. Nice work young artists!

I am always curious to see large wall space art in hotels and office buildings. These installations have to be attractive as well as fill large spaces. In the case of the place we are staying right now one wall is covered with a series of smaller pieces with what appears to be different designs on handmade paper. It is quite lovely. Learn from art wherever you are!

Shells along Myrtle Beach are broken and tiny pieces. What a difference than the ones I saw last year at Fernandina Beach Florida. I wonder why? I’m not good at “scientific” stuff. LOL There just isn’t many here to see and pick up. Take a look here to see the ones from last year’s trip to Florida. The photos here are Myrtle on the left and Fernandina on the right. WOW!

Flying Dogs!

Yesterday we went to see flying dogs! It was so much fun watching their excitement as the excitement built up to the lunge into the water. Some were great jumpers….some were just enthusiastic. LOL It was worth the time. Here is where we found them.
