We had a prefect day in Front Royal for the Wine Festival yesterday. Many thanks to Sandra Patterson for the photos of the happenings around Delilah’s Art and Gift Shop. We had a lot of visitors stop by. And Shelly and Tami did a great job with the Kids Craft Corner. The kids got a real kick out of making their “Bug Necklaces” as well as many other fun crafts. Thanks girls. All in all a very nice day!

This is my new buddy – Allie. Her mom is JoJo who has joined the Delilah’s co-op and has beautiful fine silver jewelry. Stop in and see it. Allie helped us Saturday at the festival. She is a great saleslady. And didn’t she look cute with her painted face???!!
She is also a great painter. She helped me with the Coneflower painting that I was working on while her mom looked on. Thanks Allie.
And thanks everyone who stopped in to see me Saturday.

Saturday was a beautiful day for a festival and we had a great one downtown Front Royal. The Wine & Craft Festival brought lots of people to Main Street and many stopped by to see us at Delilah’s.
And I worked on several paintings that day. I even had a couple of children who helped paint a little.
I used to get really nervous painting in front of others but now that I have done it so often it doesn’t bother me. I enjoy it in fact. People generally have interesting questions about painting and are very encouraging.
We had a drawing for those who came into Delilah’s to register and this was our winner. Sheron Nicodemus from Richmond was the lucky one and this was the painting she selected. I got to spend a few minutes chatting with Sheron and she was just delightful. Congratulations!
(Special thanks to Sandy Patterson for taking the photos of me painting and with Sheron.)
