A Beautiful Row Quilt in the Making by Janet

At yesterday’s Row Quilt class while some of our quilters finished up their blocks, Janet started assembling her quilt rows. Isn’t it gorgeous???!!!! I just love how it is turning out. And Janet is doing a beautiful job on it. Can you believe she has just started quilting recently while attending The Studio’s Quilt as You Go classes? I can’t wait to see it when she gets the other half on it along with the border and binding. The color and fabric choices are so nice. It’s going to be fabulous!!!! Great work Janet.

More with Row Quilts

Yesterday you met the second class that has started the Row Quilt project. Here is the first class with blocks for the another row. This one features the Monkey Wrench and the Friendship Star. These quilters did an amazing job with their blocks and selecting fabrics for their quilts. Beautiful work! Stay tuned as we share more of our Row Quilt adventure.

Row Quilt Gets Started

Yesterday our second group of quilters started their Row Quilt. They worked up 2 rows of 4 patches to make a great checkerboard design in the Quilt as You Go method. Here they are showing off the front 4 patch and the backing fabric they have selected for their quilts. I can’t wait to see how they turn out! Nice work ladies. See you next month!

Row Quilt All Done

Just complete this “Row” Quilt which will inspire our next Block of the Month session. If you have wanted to learn to quilt, Quilt As You Go is the way to go! It is a method of quilting that allows you to quilt entirely on a domestic sewing machine….no need to load your quilt onto a frame and hand quilt….or send it out to a long-arm quilter to finish for you.
