At this month’s class we learned to join our quilt blocks. Terry and Sherry got theirs put together and now all that is left is the borders and bindings that we will do in January. These Sampler quilts have been such a good learning experience…twelve quilt blocks and a new method for quilting. What a great class! If you are interested we have a seat left in the latest session. Just complete this “Row” Quilt which will inspire our next Block of the Month session. If you have wanted to learn to quilt, Quilt As You Go is the way to go! It is a method of quilting that allows you to quilt entirely on a domestic sewing machine….no need to load your quilt onto a frame and hand quilt….or send it out to a long-arm quilter to finish for you. You can do it all right on your home sewing machine. How much fun is that???!!!!! Tons of fun…trust me. Watch for our Row Quilt class beginning soon. And if you missed out on getting in on the Quilt As You Go Sampler Quilt class we have another beginning in October. Check it out here. Join us and learn this method of quilting.
