I don’t know how you can look at these amazing poppy paintings and not regret coming to paint one yourself! Aren’t they terrific???!!!! Just completed the blocks for Red Poppy, Yellow Poppy. Now to get it together and put the border on it and off to the long-armer it will go. But that will have to wait because we are off to the Quilt Show in Pennsylvania today to get more great ideas and supplies. We’ll share more about that in the next few days.

Our kid’s class at The Studio started back from summer break yesterday. We painted these gorgeous red poppies. Nice work by these young painters! If you have a young painter ages 5-12 let us know. We meet each Wednesday from 4:15-5:15 pm.

We had a small but enthusiastic group who bravely painted the Bonnard Poppies last night at The Studio. Nice work everyone! It wasn’t as hard as we thought it would be. And they are beautiful. The next Famous Painter Party will be Tuesday, September 26th at 6 pm. Maybe a Monet?
