Yesterday we had a private party with family and friends painting the highland cow. Everyone did an awesome job and they all chose different embellishments from Christmas lights to Santa hats to mistletoe to wreaths to a daily in it’s hair. So much creativity! Great job everyone. Merry Christmas!

Here is our second class of October Banners. Don’t they look fabulous? These quilters did terrific work on these little banners. We are so excited for this series we are working on. The Studio is closed today through next Tuesday in observance of Independence Day. We are taking a little time off to recharge and visit with family. We’ll be back on our regular schedule next Wednesday. In the meantime, have a great long Holiday weekend and remember the real reason we celebrate this day and read (or reread) the Declaration of Independence. You can see it here.

Dianne is one of my weekly art students. When she has guests in town for a visit she treats them to a session of art. Here is a preview for upcoming Christmas Projects Class. This quilted Tree Skirt will be part of our Holiday Series of Christmas decoations and gifts. Watch for it on the calendar soon. I can’t wait to see what it looks like around the bottom of my Christmas Tree….but I just couldn’t bring myself to drag the tree out yet. LOL!
