Our first group of quilters made their September banner on Thursday morning. Aren’t they GREAT???!!! We love these banners. This was our final one as we started last October so we have created a whole year of beautiful banners. Take a look at all of them.

Don’t these Popsicle Banners just look like summer???!!! And these girls did a great job yesterday sewing and quilting theirs. We are starting our quilters off young at The Studio! And they all said it was “SEW MUCH FUN”! Great job girls. I know you will enjoy hanging these up for the rest of the summer to enjoy.

Our June banner is just delightful! We love how it exudes SUMMER! And these quilters did a great job on theirs yesterday. Beautiful ladies and as always, y’all are “sew” much fun to work with!

Here is our second class of October Banners. Don’t they look fabulous? These quilters did terrific work on these little banners. We are so excited for this series we are working on. Yesterday we started our “Year of Banners” class. These quilters did beautiful work on their first banner in our year long series. I love these. As we just announced we will begin our “Banner Year” soon featuring a quilted banner for each month of the year. This one with our patchwork acorn and pinwheels will be November’s banner. The hardest part of designing this year long class is narrowing down the ideas. But that will be good news for those who participate because they will get several patterns each month. WooHoo! We love bonus patterns, don’t you???!!!! The schedule for the first quarte should be ready today or tomorrow so be sure to watch for it on The Studio Facebook page. I’m so excited to have my Expressive Hydrangeas selected for ShenArts Council’s ArtScape12 for the banners in Winchester. Take a look here to see all that are going to be a part and they are on display at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley now.
