We had another terrific paint party at Capon Springs this week and everyone created beautiful bird houses with clematis. I love that everyone is doing such nice work here. What a fun time it has been…..painting, tearing paper, singing together, dancing around, making new friends….all while creating beautiful art! It has been my pleasure to work with this amazing group!

It’s so terrific to see families come in to paint together. We had one big family…some came from Philadelphia and others from Connecticut, to meet at Capon for a reunion. And while here they discovered their artistic side. They all did a fabulous job on their paintings. Nice work everyone!

What a delightful group of painters and what a beautiful bunch of Hydrangeas and Daisies that they painted last night at the Capon Springs Paint Party. Judith, one of my Wednesday evening students, just finished this little kitten painting last week. She gave these kittens to her daughter and they are constantly cuddled together. Aren’t they adorable? And didn’t she do a terrific job painting them. Nice work! You can paint with us too….every Wednesday at 10:30 am or 5:30 pm. On Thursday the Homeschool Kids Class prepared these beautiful pieces for their moms for Mother’s Day tomorrow. They selected beautiful sayings to add to the mixed media art. Nice work everyone! I know the moms will LOVE them.
