Great Classes Coming up at The Studio

Have you checked out the calendar for The Studio yet? Well, you should. We have all sorts of fun classes for kids and adults coming up in the next few weeks including some to make your holidays a little easier.

Just this week we have a fun “Air Dry Clay Leaf Dish” class.

There are two Paint Parties this coming Saturday and next weekend there is a “Paint a Gourd Snowman” class for kids and adults!

And you don’t want to miss the “Top 7+ Do-It-Yourself Easy Gift Ideas” for the Holidays seminar. This one will provide instructions for many unique and easy ideas for everyone on your list.

Kids Paint Covered Bridge Scene

Negative Space Embroidery

Since I have gotten into embroidery lately I have been learning how much it seems to have changed since I used to do it as a kid.

One of the things I have found is negative space embroidery. It has such a modern look to it and it was fun to do.

$62 Million Van Gogh Masterpiece

Reindeer Dogs

Air Dry Clay Leaf Dish

Pinterest is a dangerous thing. There are so many great ideas on there…so many things I want to try to do. The latest is this air dry clay project.

I made a couple of Leaf Dishes. The burnt orange one was the first. The others have just dried and now I need to finish them with a little sanding and varnish. I love how these turn out. If you want to give it a try we will be making these at our “Pinterest Picks” class at The Studio on November 11th & 18th. Check it out!

Beautiful Sunflower Scene

We painted beautiful Sunflower Scenes -and some with Pumpkins- at the 1st Saturday Paint Party yesterday at The Studio.
