3 hats

A Bucket Hat, a Cloche, and a Beanie

I just made these three hats for an upcoming class at The Studio on how to make the perfect hat with the perfect fit for anyone.

I wish when I first started crocheting accessories that someone had given me these tips.  Boy, it would have made life easier!  Keep watching for the date for this informative class.

We’ll be taking “The Studio” on the road to teach at a Retreat and a Convention in the next few months.

WebHeader20161First we’ll be in Clarksville, TN  for the last weekend in March for CON-GT, Tennessee’s only Dr. Who convention!  Check it out here.  And of course, we will be painting the Tardis!

coverfinalsm2Then in June we will return to Sassafras Farm for an Americana Retreat with Baking and Painting.  Can you imagine a better combination?!  Get all the info you need here.

I love teaching Paint Parties on location.  It’s fun to meet so many new people and help them see that they CAN paint too!

Header Life at The StudioFor over eight years this has been “Life of a Daily Painter” blog where I have shared the things I have painted or made each day.  Well, for the last year and a half since we opened The Studio on Main Street in Front Royal I have been sharing what we all have created there.  It has been exciting to show off the wonderful art and crafts made by people who come to The Studio.

It was time to make a change with my blog to reflect the changes that have occurred in my “Daily Painting” life.

Now we will be “Life at The Studio”!  We will continue in basically the same way but we will share more information about what we are creating at The Studio as well as what this daily painter is doing.  We hope you will enjoy this change.

The web address lifeofadailypainter.com will continue to work and we will add lifeatthestudio.com so that either will bring you to “The Studio”.  Other small changes will occur to the look during the next month.  We hope you will continue to follow along.  Thanks so much for your continued support!
