Ugly Holiday Sweaters

We had our Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest yesterday afternoon at The Studio. We had some great competitors! But Bernadette won with her “Ugly” creation and she got a wonderful prize package valued at over $250! Congrats Bernie and thanks to Mayor-elect Tharpe for judging for us. It was a fun time.

Meems Bridge Paintings

dec-weems-bridge We painted the Meems Covered Bridge at the 1st Saturday Paint Party yesterday. Everyone did a wonderful job. And we had one painter that had a special connection to the Bridge. She was proposed to at the bridge and she and her family go back there every fall. Now she has a nice rememberence of that day.

Ornaments Paint Party

We had a lot of “family” action too….a mother with her three grown kids; an aunt with nephew, and a mother-daughter. It’s a fun way to spend family time. Rag Quilts!

Rag Quilt 2.jpg We had so much fun making Rag Quilts on Sunday at The Studio. Where else can you learn to make a Rag Quilt and walk away with a finished product in just 3 hours???!!!! Great job everyone. And you asked for it so here it is….another one scheduled on January 8th. And the best part….all the fabrics are flannel with Cats or Dogs motif. You know I LOVE these. Kids Holiday Crafts

We had a great time creating holiday gifts and crafts at The Studio on Saturday! These kids did a wonderful job getting several projects done including our terrific reindeer. Don’t you just love him? We had so much fun that we are doing another one on Sunday, December 11th at 1 pm…. we’ll do some different projects this time….but they’ll be just as cute. Sign up your young person here.
