Arrived yesterday in New Freedom, PA for a quilting retreat with about 20 other quilters….a great group of woment with beautiful ideas and skills. It’s so much fun to see what others are doing. I put together a quilt that I have been working on for a possible class. And watch for more photos of the beautiful things these quilters are doing here.

To say we had a great time at Stitch & Bitch VII would be a huge understatement. This group of stitchers made beautiful projects while having fun playing games and winning prizes. It would be hard to describe all the things we did, all the delicious food we ate, and all the laughs we had. I can’t remember when I laughed so much. We are all looking forward to the next one in April.

As we just announced we will begin our “Banner Year” soon featuring a quilted banner for each month of the year. This one with our patchwork acorn and pinwheels will be November’s banner. The hardest part of designing this year long class is narrowing down the ideas. But that will be good news for those who participate because they will get several patterns each month. WooHoo! We love bonus patterns, don’t you???!!!! The schedule for the first quarte should be ready today or tomorrow so be sure to watch for it on The Studio Facebook page. If you haven’t “liked” our page be sure to do that now.

Another big bonus is that it takes only a small amount of each fabric and you can even use fat quarters. You know you have been buying them so now you can use them! 🙂 Here is the link with more information and to register to be sure to get your spot!
