Just got my “Picnic Quilt” back from the longarmer. I love the design of this quilt. It’s simple but it really could be used to play checkers! The simple blocke designs around the edge just enhance the checks. Love it! Now to go on a picnic.

We had a great quilt workshop at The Studio Friday evening and Saturday. These quilters got a great start on their Flying Flag quilts. They went home with some homework and will return in a few weeks to complete their quilts. Can’t wait to see how they turn out. Great work everyone. We even had two new to quilting enthusiastic students. We’re always excited to introduce new people to quilting. If you have ever wanted to learn to quilt be sure to check out upcoming classes at The Studio and join us.

The Northern Shenandoah Valley Quilt Show was this weekend in Berryville and it was awesome. What a great job the local guilds did putting this show together. Just take a look at a very small selection of the almost two hundred quilts that were on display. So much talent!!!!!
