Yesterday was a busy day with two paint parties – one at the Holiday Inn and one at The Studio. Rice Tire from Maryland is having a retreat/convention here and invited us to have a Paint Party for their attendees spouses. We had a large and enthusiastic group. Everyone did a great job and is going home with a wonderful souvenir of their time in the Shenandoah Valley.
The afternoon saw us painting at our 1st Saturday Paint Party where we painted the third in our Four Seasons series – the Spring Tree. They looked GREAT!
Lots of beautiful art was made yesterday!

I couldn’t have asked for a more fun group of painters to have an April Fools Day Paint Party than the one that was at The Studio last night. They were so much fun. Many were hesitant, as many are when they come to paint for the first time, but after getting started they were all great new painters, laughing and having a great time. You can tell from their wonderful paintings that they had a great time.
We had more fun last night painting again at ConGT…..sunflowers and poppies! Great work everyone.
We had a large and enthusiastic group painting last night at ConGT in Clarksville, TN. Of course, we painted Van Gogh’s Starry Night with the Tardis rolling in. Terrific. Everyone did an AWESOME job. What a great souvenir from the con.
We had the best time at the Famous Painters Party last night at The Studio painting Van Gogh’s Yellow Chair. Everyone did a fabulous job working on their 16″ x 20″ canvas. They look so good! We are going to do the companion piece “Gauguin’s Chair” at the May 24th session.
The ROX Soccer Team rocked it out this weekend as they painted their logo. They did a super job. Way to go girls!
I love it when people paint their pet’s portraits. They turn out so great. And yesterday was no different. Take a look at these beauties!
It’s time to paint flowers for a change. And we have some really nice ones coming up. We will be doing either Poppies or Sunflowers at a Paint Party on Saturday night, March 26th in Clarksville, TN. You can register for that one

We have had some really great paintings at Paint Parties this weekend. We had Mary’s Birthday Party with a terrific beach scene. We had our second group paint the “Tulips with a View”. And last Thursday we even painted some wonderful wine glasses. Nothing but a good time to be had at The Studio.
