Two of my favorite painting sisters were back at The Studio yesterday for a Birthday Party….and I got to meet Mom! Thanks Liz and Carol for bringing such a fun group and for wanting to paint the Meem’s Covered Bridge.

I was asked yesterday how my mermaid turned out. I did a quick one Monday afternoon so the girls would have a sample to refer to while we were painting. She’s the one with the red/pink hair. Then I painted the blonde one during the Paint Party. I still want to go in and put something in her hair. I was helping others finish up theirs so I didn’t quite finish.

We celebrated Sarah’s 17th Birthday at The Studio last night by painting these really cute Mermaids with her friends and family. Great work girls! Happy Birthday Sarah!

Yesterday we painted Pet Portraits at The Studio. I missed getting photos except I did catch Faye to get a picture of the beautiful job she did painting her pup, Beau. He is so adorable. This was Faye’s first visit to The Studio and I hope not the last.

I was invited out to Lake Frederick to help these ladies paint their pet’s portraits this week. They did a fabulous job! I loved working with you all and hope we paint together again real soon. And I enjoyed working in the new Art Studio at your clubhouse. It’s beautifully done. Here are some photos. I love the clever use of brushes for cabinet door pulls. Nice!

A few weeks ago I had a Paint Party in Winchester for a large group. (You can see that here.) During the party two of the painters reminded me that they had come to The Studio to a private Paint Your Pet’s Portrait Party a few months before and they shared with me this photo of the paintings they did with their beloved dog models. I LOVE IT!!!!! It is so much fun for me to help people create things they like. Aren’t these wonderful???!!!!
