We made a quick trip to the Quilt Show in Chantilly yesterday. It was the first time I had been and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the quilts on display. The amazing work that went into these beautiful creations was too hard to even describe. Here is just a sampling of what I saw.
And speaking of sampling…… I am obsessed with these sampler quilts. I think this is the next big project. And of course, there were wonderful vendors with terrific new projects for us to try.
I particularly love the things at “Epicurean Boutique”. Patty Vatter had the most glorious patterns for handwork. You need to check her out on Facebook to catch her next show.
A few weeks ago the kids painted “The Drive” in their art classes….Skyline Drive. Here is the demonstration painting that I did along with them.
We had a fabulous group of painters yesterday at The Studio creating beautiful canvas’ of Mountain Flowers. Nice work everyone. We have more fun paintings coming up. Check these out:
Yesterday you saw the kid’s versions of the Tobacco Barn and today this is mine.
