Carrie came back to The Studio on Wednesday evening during our adult art class to complete the pet portrait of her granddog that she started at Pet Portraits on Sunday. Great work Carrie! Our final Pet Potrait session for 2024 will be on Sunday, December 8th. Register now as space is limited.

You remember Dianne, one of my Wednesday students, who brings her family and friends to paint at The Studio when they are visiting. Well, yesterday we painted with her medical school classmates. They get together every year and she entertains them by taking them to different classes and events going on. They did a great job painting these fun little “JOY” holiday paintings that they will love displaying soon as they remember their fun here in Front Royal.

We had a great day of fun painting pets yesterday at The Studio and just look at how great everyone did. And especially of new friend Preston who, anytime someone thought they couldn’t get it just right, he told them to “WOMAN UP!” And they sure did and turned out these amazing portraits. Yesterday this young group of Homeschoolers painted this cute little Halloween image at The Studio. Didn’t they do a great job???!!! Great work kids. We’ll have another class for Homeschoolers on Tuesday, December 10th at 1:30. Watch for more information and register your young painter.

I finished the top for this Sunflower Quilt a few months ago and got it back from my amazing longarm quilter, Wendy Hughes, a few weeks ago. She made it look amazing! I love how it turned out.
