Just completed the blocks for Red Poppy, Yellow Poppy. Now to get it together and put the border on it and off to the long-armer it will go. But that will have to wait because we are off to the Quilt Show in Pennsylvania today to get more great ideas and supplies. We’ll share more about that in the next few days.

A few weeks ago I introduced a new series of quilts that I had designed, all based on NOT including any half-square triangles. My good friend, Wilma, hates making half-square triangles so I designed this group of quilts with her in mind and decided to call it The Wilma Series. (See and read about that here.) I just finished one of the designs this afternoon. I love the colors and the modern feel to this quilt. It was put together using the Quilt As You Go method. It went really fast!

Our Thursday Night Quilters completed their Sampler Quilts last night. Samantha, Shannon and Jillian are shown here with their amazing works. We missed Becky and Paula last night but look forward to seeing their finished quilts too. This was such a fun group of ladies…always eager to learn more and always ready to laugh.
