Hi Kelly!
I so enjoy your emails, especially the ones on painting. I don’t expect you to remember me – I was the painter who struggled so hard with the collage art form, ended up with a picture of a koi.
Anyway, I’m actually looking for your advice. I have an ink drawing of a tulip that I did a few months ago that I’d like to protect. I’ve looked at recommendations by Google and others, but seemed to find advice concerning India ink or ink mixed with alcohol. (Mod Podge was recommended for almost anything.) My drawing is just plain ol’ ink from a regular (not gel) pen.
Do you have a recommendation?
Thanks for your time!

Hi Karen- Good to hear from you. I haven’t worked in ink so I’m not sure how to protect it. But wouldn’t it work to frame it under glass? Like you would a watercolor drawing? If you don’t intend to frame it I am not aware of anything that you could spray or brush on it to protect it but there must be something. Sorry I can’t help more. -Kelly
