Are you familiar with a website called Kickstarter? If you aren’t you should take a look. Kickstarter is a new way “to fund and follow creativity”. We don’t all have thousands of dollars to donate to projects that we think are worthwhile. But everyone can give $1 or $10 or maybe even $25 to something we think would be great and help a creative person in the process. When we donate together we can make projects a success. Take a look at some of the interesting ideas that are out there.
I say all this leading to my a project by my friend, Suzanne McMinn. You may remember her from her blog, Chickens in the Road, and she is the one who has all the farm animals that I use as models for the Farm Animal series of paintings. She is trying to build a teaching kitchen/studio at her farm so that she can have workshops there. It’s a great idea. Take a look here at her project and help her out if you can. Even $10 is a big help. There is only a few more days to pledge to the project. Thanks for your consideration. All of us art lovers have to stick together. 🙂

Great post kelly-I’m sure one of the hardest things she had to leave at Stringtown farm were your incredible murals-they were fabulous! But it does seem things are working out for the best at her new place and -hope hope-she will have the kitchen and really get rolling! Dont ya just love the barn!!
