Just returned from Hilton Head where I got to paint on South Beach a few days. I like to paint there because there is always a good breeze blowing and it’s not overly crowded. I’ll post the results over the next few days.
This one is South Beach I, Hilton Head Island. It is an oil on canvas panel measuring 9″x12″ and is available for $175 by contacting me at kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com .
Johnny and I spent our honeymoon at Hilton Head — my uncle built one of the first three houses at Sea Pines back in the 50’s, and he gave us use of it for his wedding gift in 1972. That beautiful place has since been sold and torn down, but your picture brings back those wonderful memories of a very, very special part of the world.
I would love to be on that beach right now! I think your landscapes and animal pictures are my favorite.
Keep painting! My artistic daughter and I visit your blog every day to see if you have a new painting on the website.
