20170127_061956.jpgI am catching up my Temperature Scarf.  I completed week 2.  Remember I thought I might try using different stitches each week.  Well for the second week I chose a shell stitch.  Since I am just trying to make it work I am having to just determine how many stitches to skip to make it fit.  For this one I skipped 2 stitches and then did 5 double crochets and skipped 2 stitches and then did a single crochet.  Then I repeated.  Read more about the Temperature Scarf here.

wp-1483873067821.jpgAs promised yesterday here is the pattern we are going to use for or Temperature Scarf.  Actually, we have decided to use many stitches in our scarf…changing stitches each week.  So for the first week (January 1-7) we are using the Chevron Stitch.  This nice  little pattern is from Dena Stelly.  You can print it by clicking this link. chevron_scarf_v2-1   And remember you can print out the same chart we used for our blanket last year to record the weather each day so you’ll know which color to use.  Find that here.    We’ll share the other stitches we are using as we go along.  Let us know what you are doing with yours!
