The Studio has added two sessions of Summer Sewing Camp to our schedule. Sewing Camp 1 is June 13 & 14 and is for ages 8+. We will learn sewing machine basics and safety while making several projects….a reversible tote bag and a quilted banner with a summer theme. Sewing Camp 2 is July 25 & 26 and we will again learn about basic sewing machine skills while making a cool project. We will design our own stuffed animal. We’ll begin by drawing a design and work it into a pattern, sew it up and take it to the final design details. Will it be a turquoise cat or a green fox? Maybe it will be a red and yellow striped turtle…..who knows what we will come up with in this fun class. Don’t miss it. This will be a very unique project. And chances are we will have time to make a matching tote bag to carry it in. The cute little frog above is a sample of what we have in mind.
