What a terrific way to have a birthday party. Last week we celebrated a 15th at The Studio. And all her friends got a really cute little snowman painting to take home with them to enjoy and remember the fun afternoon. Nice work all around. Interested in having a private party of your own….contact Kelly at kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com .
Our second group of Table Toppers class did excellent work yesterday making their January toppers. Beautiful work ladies. Looking forward to seeing you at the next session.
The hardworking staff of the Humane Society of Warren County enjoyed their Christmas Party lunch yesterday afternoon at Reitano Vineyard. After lunch we led them in a paint party where they all painted these super cute little snowmen. Didn’t they do an awesome job? Many thanks to these folks for all they do to help homeless pets in our community. Keep up the good work.
Take a look at these adorable Snowman Banners that the Saturday Banner class made yesterday. Not only did they make these cute quilted banners, they learned a new technique….Applique! Great job everyone. I love these happy little snowmen! Perfect for our weather.
One of my favorite creative people, Denise Kupiszewski and her husband, Alek, came to Open Studio yesterday to paint together. What fun! They did amazing work and had great fun. Alek is a technical guy so it’s good for him to get in touch with his creative side. And he did just that yesterday recreating a Franz Marc Horse. Beautiful work! And Denise did a version of the cute little Lincoln hat snowman. Super, super cute! (You all know Denise from The Mud Peddler Studio in Shepherdstown WV and she offers pottery classes at The Studio from time to time. Check out her website here and watch for her classes. It’s worth the trip up to Shepherdstown to take a class with her.)
Could these Snowmen be any cuter???!!! We think NOT! They are just adorable. Everyone did great and we especially enjoyed having our guests from Brazil with us last night.
Our Banner classes will meet this weekend to create the December banner that features a Christmas tree. And I will be teasing the next quarter’s classes with this cute little “Snowwoman” for our January classes that will feature applique. I love her!
What a fun afternoon with families and friends painting this “Snazzy Little Snowman”. Nice work everyone!!!! We have another Snowman painting coming up on January 29th. Check him out here.
