Our March banners turned out great! Just look at them. We had both sessions of our classes yesterday and had lots of fun with these leprechaun hats and clovers. Great work everyone!

Our “Begin With a Star” Quilt class finished up last night. It took us a little longer than expected to complete the quilt but we had such a good time together that we didn’t mind at all. These new quilters did an amazing job on their quilts and aren’t they gorgeous????!!!! Nice work ladies. I can’t wait till the next time we quilt together. If you would like to learn to quilt check out the upcoming events at The Studio here.

Our Beginning Quilt Class is next weekend and it sold out FAST! It’s going to be a fun one to make. Since it was popular we have scheduled another for March 9th so if you are interested in learning to quilt (or sew) this is a great beginning class and project. Check our more information here and register early. We are limited to six for the class.

To say we had a great time at Stitch & Bitch VII would be a huge understatement. This group of stitchers made beautiful projects while having fun playing games and winning prizes. It would be hard to describe all the things we did, all the delicious food we ate, and all the laughs we had. I can’t remember when I laughed so much. We are all looking forward to the next one in April.

Our Saturday Banner class made these amazing Acorn Banners for November. They look awesome! And we have a new yound student….Korrine. She made her first quilted piece with us yesterday and is so excited about sewing. It’s fun to help young people develop this skill. Just look at this smiling face below.

Here is our second class of October Banners. Don’t they look fabulous? These quilters did terrific work on these little banners. We are so excited for this series we are working on. Yesterday we started our “Year of Banners” class. These quilters did beautiful work on their first banner in our year long series. I love these. Our Thursday Night Quilters completed their Sampler Quilts last night. Samantha, Shannon and Jillian are shown here with their amazing works. We missed Becky and Paula last night but look forward to seeing their finished quilts too. This was such a fun group of ladies…always eager to learn more and always ready to laugh. I completed this “Fancy Diamond” quilt top last month and was pleased with how it turned out. I took it to my longarm quilter, Wendy Hughes. When I got it back I was thrilled. Just look at the beautiful stitching she did on the blocks and neutral space. Wendy made a quilt that I was pleased with into a quilt that I am so delighted to have! Don’t you agree that it’s amazing????!!!!! Thanks Wendy…beautiful work!

Another group of quilters are putting their sampler quilts together using the Quilt as You Go method. Yesterday Sierra and Connie got some of theirs done. I can’t wait to see the rest of it together. I love Sampler Quilts….and these are beautiful! Nice job ladies.
