Coming Soon….Scrappy Mouse!

Sometimes I think and think to come up with an idea for a class and sometimes my students ask me to teach them to make a particular design. This was a special request. I’ve been working to get the design done so that I can ge the class set up at the frist of the year. The class is already at least half filled but I have a feeling we will have plenty of folks who would like to make their own. Watch for dates to be listed soon.

Well, it’s back from the long-arm quilter and I LOVE IT! It is going to be a great memory from our trip and the quilters who went along on this epic adventure. I added a label to the back that features my fellow shoppers.

Remember back in March when we took that epic road trip to Missouri for fabric acquisition? (Read more about it here.) Well, I designed a quilt that features a block that represents each of the states that we stopped and shopped in along the way. I call it Road Trip 2023. Here is my version of the quilt using fabric that I purchased on the trip. I just finished the top yesterday and plan to send it out to be quilted. I gave each of the quilters who went on the trip this pattern and I know a couple of them are making there own versions of the quilt. I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
