Another great day with a field trip to start off as we went to Warrenton to check out Quilting Essentials and More. It’s a small shop but they have gorgeous, quality fabric and the owner was super nice. Then we came back to quilting and sewing the rest of the afternoon. And of course, after dinner, we had our usual games plus a Christmas special. Katrina won again and Sherry, Sister (Suzanne) and Julie joined in the winner’s circle. Can’t wait to see what happens on our final night.

Arrived yesterday in New Freedom, PA for a quilting retreat with about 20 other quilters….a great group of woment with beautiful ideas and skills. It’s so much fun to see what others are doing. I put together a quilt that I have been working on for a possible class. I call it the “Perfect Picnic Quilt” because it has a checkboard in the center so after you eat your picnic you can play checkers! Fun, hun???!!!! Watch for an upcoming class. It’s the quiet before the storm….storm of sewing, that is! The Quilter’s Retreat started yesterday afternoon and while I didn’t get here till early evening I tried to catch up by sewing until 11 pm. And now, as usual, I am the first one up. I just can’t seen to sleep past 5 am. It’s kind of nice in the quiet minutes before all the machines fire up. I can’t wait to see what everyone is doing!
