Terri has been coming to The Studio for some time now to paint pets….and she has a LOT! She is painting each one that she has or has had to hang as a grouping. This is the one she did on Friday at Open Studio. They are turning out great! Can’t wait to see the “Portrait Wall” she is creating.

One of the most popular events we do at The Studio is Painting Your Pet’s Portrait. It may seem like it would be a difficult task but it’s not. You send your favorite photo of your pet and we’ll sketch it and you come in and paint. We will talk you through it step by step. Just finished another commission. This is Buddy, a beautiful German Shepherd that belonged to a some good friends. I have painted others for them and now they have asked me to paint Buddy who has been gone a few years. I’m also working on Bo, another of their dogs that is no longer with us. I hope to have her done to share soon.

Last Saturday at the final Pet Portrait session of this year we had several people who were painting gifts for family and friends. I love it when that happens. They make the BEST gifts.
