Our ever popular “Paint Your Own Pet’s Portrait” Party was terrific yesterday. We had a wonderful group of painters. And everyone created a beautiful work of art to honor these lovely dogs.

January 2014 Paint Your Pet Portrait Party
Yesterday afternoon we had another “Paint Your Pet’s Portrait” Party at the Blue Ridge Arts Council and the painters made wonderful renditions of their pets! Just take a look. And a couple of these folks have never painted before. Can you believe it???!!!

Looking for a unique gift for a family member or loved one? Or maybe you just want a break from all the holiday craziness? Or maybe you need a few hours without the kids to do some last-minute shopping or gift wrapping? Let the kids come to the “Paint Your Own Pet Workshop” next weekend. Or you come to the adult workshop and paint one for yourself!
There will be two workshops – one for kids and one for adults. These workshops will provide everything you need to create a “Masterpiece”. Just select a great profile photo of your pet and register for the workshop. Registration deadline is December 20th. This project is for the absolute beginner or long-time painter. Anyone can do it and create a lovely work of art. Sign up today. Space is limited.
Kids Workshop (ages 6-13), Saturday, December 21, 2013 , 3-6 pm, $30.
Adult Workshop, Sunday, December 22, 2013, 4-7 pm, $30.
