Here are more fabulous Christmas gifts that some of my students made for their family and friends over the last few months.
I am sure these were BIG hits! Great job everyone.

We had a fun Pet Portrait Paint Party yesterday with wonderful portraits created. I can share a few with you today but others will have to wait until after Christmas as they are going to be wonderful presents for friends and family.
Everyone did fabulous work. Martin was painted twice by this sweet girl and her mom. They did great paintings. And Rebecca and Vivian did beautiful paintings of their sweet kitties.
Good work everyone!

I had the pleasure of working with the Conference Managers yesterday for their Christmas Party. They had a fun day of cooking, wine tasting and painting at The Salamander Resort in Middleburg.
We painted a lovely winter scene with snow and trees and they all did a FABULOUS job! They were an enthusiastic and delightful group…but what could I expect when you get 15 A-type personalities together to paint. It was spirited! Great work everyone.
And I love that after we took their “class photo” they leaned in to take a “selfie”. Now those girls are good!!!

We have two great workshops coming up at The Studio. The first on is this Friday morning, December 5th from 11-12:30. We will be making these terrific “Initial Paintings” using paint and paper. These are pretty simple to make but produce a really nice work of art that would make a fabulous present for anyone on your list. You can see more about it here.
(And if you can’t make it Friday morning we will have a Tuesday evening class for this one on December 9th.)
The second is our 1st Saturday Paint Party where we will be painting this beautiful winter tree scene on Saturday, December 6th at 2 pm. And we will finish just in time to watch the Christmas Parade go by! Click here for more information.
There are only a couple of spaces left in each of these workshops so be sure to contact kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com to reserve a space now.

We had the most fun Birthday Paint Party yesterday afternoon at The Studio. Rhea had many of her friends come to paint to celebrate her 7th birthday…and boy did we have fun. She requested to paint a “castle with purple flowers and a tree”! So we did.
Do you have a young painter who would like to have a Paint Party? Contact kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com . We will be glad to help.

The next 1st Saturday Paint Party is December 6th at 2 pm. This time is an hour earlier than usual as this is the same day as the Christmas Parade so we need to start early as the streets will be blocked later in the day.
Come on down and join us to paint this lovely winter scene and enjoy the Parade. Contact kwalker@doubledogdesigns.com to register.
