What I love best about these Garden Poles is that you can paint one in almost any theme….so you can create the perfect gift. This one, in a golf motif, is for Allen’s birthday. I found the top, a birdhouse with a golf theme, and painted the pole to go with it. It was fun to put together. The museum was well done with lots of interactive displays.
Today in history in 1916 the PGA was formed in New York City. And staying with our golf theme, today in 1995 The Golf Channel began on some U.S. cable systems. Four years later, the world’s first 24-hour golf network was seen in over 30,000,000 homes. And thank goodness or Allen wouldn’t have anything to watch on TV. 🙂
