One of the things that I do each week is to make samples, whether it’s quilting or painting, for upcoming classes. Trying to stay ahead of the schedule and predict what people might like to paint or quilt is a challenge. I am always open to suggestions! These two table toppers are samples that I worked up for our May Table Topper Quilt classes. They were fun to make but a bit of a challenge to make it work in the timeframe we have for class. Later this week you will see the ones that our classes make. They’ll choose their colors and I know they will be fabulous!

We had a great time painting yesterday as we explored palette knife and brushwork with these pretty pieces. Nice work everyone. We love the enthusiasm everyone had for learning!

Students Complete Works

The most fun part of my job is watching new painters explore different mediums and types of painting. Mischele and Loretta are embracing all types of work from large canvases to palette knife. Keep up the good work ladies!

Finished this LARGE Sunflower quilt this past week. We will set up a Large Flower Quilt class in 2023. Watch for it. You may want a sunflower or a different flower. We’ll have options! 🙂
