Table Mountain

Table Rock

Right before Christmas I received a commission to paint three paintings of scenes in the North Carolina mountains.  The client had spent considerable time in the area as a child with his family and wanted to have these paintings done as gifts for his brothers.  This is the first of the three.

HH Stdio I am taking a short break away but it’s hard to go without painting when you are accustomed to painting every day so I am working on a large painting of the local marsh view.  It’s nice to change up the subject matter from the mountains, vineyards, and baseball parks I have been painting the last several months.  I hope to finish it today so I can share the finished painting tomorrow.
