The adult classes have students producing terrific art every week.  Each person works on the subject matter of their choice.  I don’t always remember to get a good photo of their finished products but from time to time I do.  Kathy and Leah both did really nice paintings in this week’s classes.

Adult Art Classes are Wednesday from 10:30-Noon or 5:30-7 or Thursday from 5:30-7.  Come join us!

Kids Class with Cardinals

We had 3 terrific art classes yesterday, as we usually do on Wednesdays.  We had a mother-daughter guest duo paint with us in the morning.  They did super work on the poppy field….and Mom said “I have never painted before.  I can’t paint”.   And of course, I said, “Yes, you can!”  And she did.  🙂

And our afternoon kid’s class painted these lovely little female cardinals in the snow.  Great work!!!

The kids painted some beautiful “Birch Trees at Night” in their class yesterday.  Super work!  They look great.

And I had a teaching assistant at all my classes yesterday.  Daisy is a one-year-old Westie who is a neighbor’s pup.  They had to go out-of-town on an emergency last Sunday night and so Daisy came to stay with us.  She is an adorable, sweet little girl…but make no mistake she is ALL terrier…full of life and mischief!  We are enjoying her.

2014-12-05 05 41 58_resizedLast night at Art Class I had a delightful group of young people come to paint with me for the first time.  It was a brother and sister and cousin.  Their grandmother “made” them do it.  LOL  They all did a wonderful job even though they told me they had not painted this way before.

And in the end they were glad that she MADE them do it.  I hope I get the chance to work with them again soon.  Great job guys.  Keep Painting!

They all look GREAT!  There are going to be some really lucky people this Christmas who receive these gifts.  Well done!
