We are pleased to announce that Abraham “Lincoln” Walker has been named as Employee of the Quarter at The Studio-A Place for Learning.  He was recognized for his Outstanding Greeting abilities and Customer Service.  Lincoln said, “I am thrilled to be recognized in this way for my work. It is something I really enjoy doing.”

20190628_213526.jpg The nurses from Front Royal Family Practice did such a good job painting this summer flower scene last night at The Studio.  And what a lively group!  Nice work everyone.  And Lincoln loved them because they had pizza and he got some pizza bones.  LOL  Come back soon!!!

20190627_113941.jpgWe celebrated our final day of this session of Art Camp by painting a Beauty and the Beast inspired painting.  These kids did amazing work this week….and we had a GREAT time!  If you have a young painter that wants to come to art camp check out the schedule here. 

20190627_053139.jpgYesterday we painted a Harry Potter themed work of art-Hedwig!  The kids did an amazing job on these, didn’t they?!  Today is our last day for this session of art camp.  We will create more beautiful work!

20190626_062106.jpgYesterday’s movie for our Movie Themed Art Camp was  Aladdin.  The kids did an awesome job painting the Lamp and Genie.  Today we will feature Harry Potter!  If your young painter would like to join in on the fun of Art Camp check out the sessions here and register them now!

On our first day of Movie Theme Art Camp we went with the Wizard of Oz and painted the Ruby Red Slippers and the Yellow Brick Road.  These kids did an amazing job…and Lincoln was their to encourage them!  Nice work everyone.  Can’t wait to see what you do today.

 

We added a memory stone for Jed to the memory garden.  It’s right by the big tree in the front yard.  I walk by it every day as I leave and return home.  There is one there for every dog that has lived at this house.  I like to see their names every day.  We really miss Jed…and all the others.
