84e04299-a28a-4cb2-a04c-a45455f56ecd1.pngThis weekend I blogged about my niece Morgan who had her senior art show in Savannah.  She has the most amazing imagination and is working on developing a story and history of an alien species.  It’s fascinating how she comes up with this stuff.  As she is finishing school she is working on more marketable ideas for now and one is these adorable Pet Portraits.  (Like Aunt, like Niece!  LOL)  I love them.  I hope you all will too as she will soon have her site up and running and will be taking orders.  They are very affordable and will make terrific gifts.  I can’t wait to get one of Lincoln and Jed!  Here is a sample of her cat and dog, Tidbit and Duffy.

We made it up to the dog show….the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

What fun for anyone who loves dogs.

There were 202 breeds showing and about 2100 dogs.  Heaven for someone like me!

Lisa’s Gift

Lisa's Painting Gift It’s no secret that one of my favorite things to do is the Pet Portraits Parties.  I love seeing everyone’s pets and hearing their stories.  Some people have come numerous times to not only paint their pets but friend’s pets too.  Lisa painted this one recently as a gift and the recipient sent her this cute photo of Fleetwood.  I think they like it!

Lincoln’s Been Waiting

Lincoln has been waiting for this day!  He is Mr. February in the Humane Society’s calendar.  And he thinks he looks good.  He chose this photo of his with “Possum” while they were napping.  He said he’s so glad that everyone can look at him for this whole month!  🙂

Meet Miner.  He’s our Great-Granddog.  Our oldest granddaughter, Taylor, adopted him last year and he is a pip!  An adorable energetic boy who loves hiking with his mom.  Her mother commissioned me to paint this portrait for Taylor for Christmas and I wanted to share it now.  I love how he is looking at his portrait.  LOL!

Nine years ago today we drove in a terrible snow storm to St. Clairesville Ohio to adopt our sweet boy, Jed.  Read more here.  He is just the BEST BOY!  (Of course, Lincoln’s crazy antics just make Jed look that much better.  LOL)   Happy Adoption Day Jedder Bean!

We’re visiting Brother and family in North Georgia and met their new pup, Duffy.  He’s adorable!  They’ve had a hard time finding a sweater to fit so last night I made him this one…and a matching hat for his mom, Debbie.  🙂

Another Basset
