New Student’s Art

We had a wonderful group for a private pet portrait session yesterday morning. Martha gave her friends the party as a Christmas gift. It was a terrific one! Everyone did a great job painting their beautiful dogs.

Homeschool Painters

Our Homeschool class finished up a painting they started at the last session of the red cabin in the snow and then did a little folk art painting on a wooden shingle. We like exploring different types of art. Great job everyone!

At The Studio Kid’s classes we explore different types of arts as well as different mediums and supports. This week the kids in Wednesday’s class painted these folk art scenes on old wooden shingles. It was fun and they look great!

We would be hard pressed to squeeze much more in at the Stitch & B;+@h Retreat this weekend. Everyone is working on fabulous projects…there is a cabin full of machines and extra tables and cords everywhere. We’re bumping into each other right and left. Are we having fun yet? Yeah, we are!!!

Modern Express Quilt

It was fun working on this bright and modern quilt. It’s no secret that we love all the traditional patterns but there is something about mixing these colorful fabrics and patterns to make a very modern looking quilt.
