Sometimes you just can’t find something that will look just right in a space….so you create it. This is a large abstract (30″x40″) that I painted to fit a remodeled bathroom space. I love it!

I’ve been collecting brooches for quite a while. I finally found a great way to display them and my friend Cindy who is visiting this week set them up for me last night. I got the great little mannequin at Old Timer’s Antiques on Main Street yesterday in Front Royal. Thank Barbara for your help. I love it. Now to find more brooches!

Masterpiece with Kids

The Kids wrapped up this session of art camp with a masterpiece! They painted a version of Childe Hassem’s “On the Balcony” from 1888. They look GREAT! It was a very large painting to do in the 3 hours that we had but they did it. Wonderful!!! There are two sessions of camp remaining this summer. The one for ages 5-7 is next Thursday and Friday, July 30-31. Click here to register your artist. Painting Like Pissarro

Our Art Campers are still going strong this week as they painted “Bouquet of Flowers” by
Camille Pissarro from 1873. This one was the most difficult we have attempted this week and they did great. Just one more day of camp for this session. Wait till you see what we do today!
