RMA Admin Staff Paints

Family, Friends and Hydrangeas

A few nights ago we had a really fun group of painters come together to paint these lovely hydrangeas. This group of family and close friends all knew the plant where these hydrangeas came from so the subject meant a lot to them. What fun. Thanks Tracey for letting us paint from your beautiful photo. Bachlorette Party at The Studio

Lincoln and I hosted the most adorable group of young ladies at The Studio last night for a bachlorette Paint Party. They did a great job painting a “Garden Path”. They’ll be taking these back to Dallas, St. Louis, Charlotte, and DC. They were just delightful to paint with. They are staying in Front Royal until Monday with lots of fun activities planned.

Private Lesson for Grands

From time to time I get requests for private lessons when grandchildren are here visiting their grandparents in the local community. That happened yesterday when I got to work with Emma and Zoe. They are in from New York spending time in the area and their grandmother hooked them up with an art lesson. They did great!

Savannah Still Painting

Here is the beautiful painting that Savannah completed tonight at class. She is starting her senior year next week. So hard to believe. She has been painting with us at The Studio since she was in the 8th grade. We love having her at The Studio. Lincoln especially loves her. She is a very good painter and as busy as her life is (and is going to be this year) we are so glad that she still comes to paint with us when she can. Great job Savannah! Lucy’s Hollyhocks A Huge Hit

Yesterday at The Studio we painted from a photo a friend had shared on Facebook a few months ago of some beautiful hollyhocks growing by an old blue shed. When I saw it I immediately thought it would make a great painting. So I asked Lucy if she allow us to use her photo as reference for out Hollyhock painting. She was delighted that we wanted to do it. And so we did….and everyone created a beautiful work of art based on Lucy’s Hollyhocks! Great work everyone!!!!
