Yesterday was the last day of Art Camp for this summer. We ended with the girls painting the “Parisian Lady” from 1910 by Kees van Dongen. They painted it on a large canvas and did a beautiful job. Nice work this session young painters. Keep painting!

We started our last session of Art Camp for the summer yesterday and it had us painting Paula Modersohn-Becker’s “Still Life with Lemon, Orange, and Tomato” from 1903. Terrific!

Masterpiece with Kids

The Kids wrapped up this session of art camp with a masterpiece! They painted a version of Childe Hassem’s “On the Balcony” from 1888. They look GREAT! It was a very large painting to do in the 3 hours that we had but they did it. Wonderful!!! There are two sessions of camp remaining this summer. Painting Like Pissarro

Our Art Campers are still going strong this week as they painted “Bouquet of Flowers” by
Camille Pissarro from 1873. This one was the most difficult we have attempted this week and they did great. Just one more day of camp for this session. Wait till you see what we do today!
Monet at The Studio

Yesterday at The Studio we painted LOTS of beautiful Monet inspired works of art. First, the kids at Art Camp created their versions of Monet’s Water Lilies.
Then it was the adults turn as they did the same.
Everyone did a GREAT job!
