I call this one the Builder’s Star because it was the Christmas gift I made for the “Honey Puddin’ “….and he is a builder! I wish I could have gotten a better photo of it. It’s huge….the biggest quilt I have made so far but I knew he wanted a quilt that would cover his queen size bed so this one turned out 75″x98”. I really love how these stars work together. When I chose the two stars I didn’t realize the serendipity of having a heart appear in between the two stars when I put them together. Perfect! I still think handmade gifts are the best! He LOVED it. It is really hard to make something for him without him seeing it as he comes in and out all the time as I am sewing and quilting. When he asked about what I was working on last week I told him it was a quilt for an upcoming class in January. I think he believed me because when our friend Wilma was here for Christmas Eve dinner I asked her to help me photograph a big quilt I just completed. I had to stand on a chair and still couldn’t hold it up high enough for the photo to cover it all. Allen watched this and when we finished he said he wondered if maybe he could have that quilt when I was finished with it for the class. That’s when I flipped it to the back side to show him the label (See below). Merry Christmas!

My hubby is the exact same way I made my niece a quilt for her wedding it turned out awsome when my hubby saw it he stated that I only hear from m niece maybe every 5-6 years and it’s a shame to send that quilt to her as he really liked it to well I made different quilt gave hubby first quilt so glad I did as I haven’t even heard of she liked the other quilt been almost 10 months ago so I know how hubby’s like our quilts we make keep making them
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME♥️🎄🎅🏻💚
