Only one session of Art Camp left this summer.

We had a really fun Paint Party last night. We got our “Beach” on by painting this beach landscape with Flip Flops. Everyone did an excellent job!!!

On Saturday, August 6th we will be making these beautiful Suncatchers at The Studio. They are gorgeous to hang inside to add some color to any space or can be used outside as a wind chime when we add bells on the bottom. Come join us. Fields of Lavender Paintings I just completed this week. Both are part of the HUGE SALE going on right now at The Studio until the end of July.
All original art is 35-50% off. Two reasons for the sale. 1) We are making way for new pieces to be hung when I return from knee surgery. 2) Since I’ll be out of commission for two weeks this is a way to off-set the loss of income. (It’s tough when bills still need to be paid. We had a great session of painting pet portraits at The Studio yesterday afternoon. Several people were painting gifts so no pics of those but here are a few of the ones I did get photos of before they got away. Awesome work!

We wrapped up this session of Art Camp with a lovely, large painting of Van Gogh’s “Vase with Carnation and other Flowers”, originally painted in 1886. This is one you don’t see very often but it’s lovely and the kids did an outstanding job on this one.

Art Campers painted like Matisse yesterday. We did this beautiful interior painting. Nice work girls.

We paint Van Gogh’s Wheatfield with Crows yesterday at Art Camp. It is thought to be one of his last paintings. The kids did an excellent job on it as they learned about Post-impressionism and Van Gogh’s short, choppy strokes. Great work everyone! Art Camp continues today…..with Warhol!
