Today I am remembering Boo, a beautiful white shepherd, who came to live with us when she was 12 years old. We rescued her from our local shelter and she was the perfect girl.
While she was a senior and only lived a couple more years, she was a charming addition to our family and we loved making her last years special. Today would have been her birthday. We miss you Boo.

Love this story, Kelly. We, too, rescued an elderly girl from the shelter. A lovely English setter,she was also 12 and the sweetest dog ever. Had her just a couple of years but I’m so glad we got her.
Bless you Diane for rescuing an old girl. There are so many seniors that need good homes to live out their lives. I think we were privileged to have Boo in our lives even though it was just for a couple of years.
