I invited some friends out to the cabin for a picnic on the 4th of July. And of course, I invited their dogs.Lincoln, Jed, Dixie and I picked some wild flowers for arrangements to have to greet our friends upon their arrival.
The welcoming committee led people to the yard.

Lincoln decided a cool spot was under the table. I think he really hung out under there to get whatever food might drop from above. 
Jed found that scratching his back on the grass was fun.

Ordo had the BEST time. He went for his first swim in the pond after Jenn showed him how to get into the water. I think he loved it. It was a fun afternoon even though it was hot. The dogs really enjoyed running with new friends. 
Dixie found a spot on the sofa after everyone left and stayed there for the rest of the evening.
