A new session of Art Camp started yesterday and our theme is “For the Love of Animals”. And since yesterday was Lincoln’s adoption day we decided to paint him! Look at the beautiful works these young artists did in just two hour? Aren’t they fabulous???!!! We love them….and I think Lincoln enjoyed the attention! One of our all-time favorites- Blue Dog! These kids did a great job painting theirs. Awesome. Camp ends today with at least one more painting…..maybe two. Watch for it tomorrow.

These young (ages 5-7) kids did a terrific job painting this little farm as part of our “Land and Sea” Art Camp yesterday. Great work!!!! They’ll be back today to create another fabulous work of art. If you have a young artist who would like to paint with us at The Studio there are 4 more sessions remaining this summer along with one session of sewing camp. Don’t miss out. Our Art Campers continued their “Land and Sea” theme as they painted these beautiful landscapes with a sailboat and lighthouse. Aren’t they terrific? And they paid such good attention that they had time to spare and got in a little “finger” painting. Love them. The first session of Art Camp started yesterday at The Studio with a large group of really enthusiastic and terrific painters. All but one have painted with me before so we got off to a great start with a review of the color wheel, value, and color mixing. And didn’t the do a fabulous job on these landscape paintings. Our theme this week is “Land and Sea”. You know they will be creating many more terrific works of art. We have several sessions of camp still available this summer. Yesterday we wrapped up the Movie Themed Art Camp with a Beauty and the Beast painting and a bonus painting of Popcorn. These young painters did a terrific job painting this week. Each painting got progressively more difficult as the week went on…..but it didn’t slow them down a bit. They did GREAT! Another year of Art Camp is behind us and our regular weekly Kid’s Art Class will begin on Wednesday, September 1st at 4:15.
