Since we allowed a couple of days to get home so we could stop along the way that is just what we did. When we saw a sign yesterday that said Virginia Safari Park it reminded me that I had seen some photos on Facebook that friends had posted when they went there and decided we should stop and see what it was all about. It was so much fun. It’s 180 acres with over 1000 animals where you drive through a 3 mile path and can open the windows and feed the animals from buckets of feed that you purchase from the park. We laughed so hard at the silly llamas and deer trying to take the buckets from us. And we saw buffalo, long horn cattle, zebras, ostrich, giraffe, wildebeest, rhinos, and much much more. IT IS WORTH THE TRIP!
