Our two Block of the Month classes made the beautiful Simplex Star for their sampler quilts yesterday. This is the 4th block finished of the 12 we are doing this year for our sampler. They look great! Nice work ladies. Can’t wait for the next one.

It was fun working on this bright and modern quilt. It’s no secret that we love all the traditional patterns but there is something about mixing these colorful fabrics and patterns to make a very modern looking quilt. We had a great day of sewing and quilting yesterday at The Studio. After making totes in the morning we made Quilt as You Go Placemats in the afternoon. It’s fun to learn to do something new and learn techniques you can apply to other projects. Great work everyone!!!!
