We had a great day at The Studio yesterday making memories with T-Shirt Rag Quilts and one Rooster specialty! What fun! Lots of laughs! And Lincoln really helped too.

Dan Robbins, the inventor of Paint-by-Numbers, has died. He never claimed that his invention made you an artist but said it gave you the experience of being an artist. I like that. Check it out here.

We had the best class this weekend with these three ladies making T-shirt Rag Quilts from their old t-shirts. It is such a great project to repurpose and use those shirts just
taking up drawer space. Hearing all the stories about the shirts was great fun. This is a terrific project and the quilts are a wonderful addition to your home…soft and cozy…great to snuggle up under and watch a movie. If you missed this one don’t worry, we have another one coming up on Saturday, April 6th but register now to get in by clicking this link.

It’s been several days now since we lost Jed. I was cleaning up a few things in my home studio when I found photos from when Jed first came to us. It was estimated that he was about 1 1/2 years old then but as he was picked up as a stray it’s still a guess as to what was his real age. He was such a gentle sweet boy…always happy…always wanting to please everyone. It never gets easier saying goodbye to our dear pets but today we are trying to look back at all the joy and remember those good times. I am sharing one of the first photos I took of Jed when he came to our home. He loved laying up in the window seat watching everything outside. And the other photo is the last I took of him right outside that same window, sitting in the sunshine. He was a lovely boy.
